Eshika Fyzee

DIRECTOR  |  PRODUCER

Eshika Fyzee is a documentary film director and National Geographic Explorer, who emphasises on conservation in all the work that she does. She is also the founder of Pangea films, a production company that focuses on creating impact environmental films. Eshika has recently produced and directed two films for the National Geographic Channel Southeast Asian - Giants of the Himalayas 2020, and Feral in the Mountains (releasing April 2023).

She has filmed across the Indian subcontinent - from coasts to rainforests and deserts, including some of the most conflict-ridden zones in the Himalayas. Eshika has also completed placements at internationally renowned production houses such as Icon Films, and BBC NHU.

Since then, some of Eshika’s credits have included working on the BBC NHU Wild Cats series, Animal Planet King Cobras and Scorpions, Blue Ant Media’s Wild Edens (India), and she has also directed and presented films for National Geographic Traveller India, and WWF India.

Eshika’s current work includes directing feature documentaries for OTT platforms, film festivals, and broadcast. Eshika and her work on wildlife films has also been featured in various platforms including The Times of India, Sanctuary Asia, and The Vibe.

Vasundhara Krishnani

RESEARCHER  |  CONSERVATIONIST

Vasundhara is a wildlife conservationist and researcher who obtained her Master's degree in Conservation Science from the University of Queensland, Australia. Her thesis was centered around the issue of human-elephant conflict in southern India. Presently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Queensland and IIT Delhi, focusing on community conservation and Illegal Wildlife Trade in developing countries. Her aim is to conserve wild habitats and animals through scientifically informed methods. She is committed to ensuring that wild animals are given the chance to live freely in their natural habitats. Additionally, Vasundhara is an enthusiastic photographer who loves to capture the beauty of nature through her camera lens.
